Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself.
2. Briefly stated, the petitioner was appointed as H.S.A.(Physical Science) with effect from 16.07.2012 in a regular vacancy in the school under the management of the 3rd respondent. The vacancy is said to have arisen owing to the promotion of the incumbent as Headmistress. When approval was sought, the 2nd respondent rejected it through Ext.P1. Later, during the academic year 2013-14, one post of H.S.A. is also said to have been reduced. Under the said circumstances, the petitioner preferred Ext.P2 statutory W.P.(C) No.32418/2014 -2-
appeal before the 1st respondent. Complaining of its non- disposal, she filed the present Writ Petition.
3. In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider petitioner's Exhibit P2 appeal, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to her and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
