Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Commissioner, Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj, the respondent no.1 to hear and decide this revisino no.08 of 2009- 10 computerized number C 2009020000609 under Sction 219 of U.P. Land Revenue Act 1901 " Antoo Lal Versus Asha Devi and others" pending before it within time fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that the revision aforesaid is pending consideration since the year 2019 has not been disposed of finally till date. The proceedings wherefrom the writ petition arises are proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act for mutation.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1, Commissioner, Prayagraj Division, Prayagraj to endeavour to decide the revision expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
