1. This contempt petition has been filed for alleged violation/non compliance of the interim order dated 06.08.2018 passed in Writ Petition No.22125(SS) of 2018.
2. Against the aforesaid interim order, the respondents have gone to the Division Bench in Special Appeal Defective No.293 of 2019. However, the said Special appeal has been dismissed vide order dated 18.07.2019. The respondents have been given liberty to file an application for early disposal of the writ petition.
3. Sri Pankaj Khare, Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that the petitioners have moved an application before the learned Single Judge for expediting the hearing of the writ petition or at least early disposal of the stay vacation application.
4. From the High Court website, it appears that the matter is likely to be listed on 26.09.2019.
5. List this petition on 10.10.2019.
6. Parties are directed to not seek any adjournment on the date fixed before learned Single Judge and argue the matter on the said date by making request before the learned Single Judge for taking up the matter as it involves substantial public interest regarding the fraudulent appointments in the Educational Department. In case, learned Single Judge is not able to dispose of the stay vacation application/writ petition on the said date, necessary orders would be passed on the next date of listing of this contempt petition.
