Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ashutosh Kumar Mishra, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1 and Sri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2.
The present petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 10.4.2019 passed by respondent no. 2, by which the correction in name of the petitioner has been rejected as the Passport Authority is pressing to submit papers alongwith surname.
After some argument, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the passport authority once again for issuance of passport without surname of the petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
