Supplementary-affidavit has been filed today, which is taken on record.
The petitioners are students of an institution and they have prayed for a direction upon the University to appoint D.A.V. Degree College, Budhana, District Muzaffarnagar as self centre for examination for the academic session 2017-18.
Such a prayer at the instance of the students is not entertainable. It is the institution which has to espouse its own cause.
Accordingly, the learned counsel for the petitioners prays to withdraw this petition with liberty to the institution to espouse its cause, if so advised.
The petition is dismissed with liberty as prayed for.
