Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
In pith and substance, the petitioner is before this Court with the request to command the District Magistrate, Mau (second respondent) to decide the representation dated 24.05.2018 expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the representation/application is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the District Magistrate, Mau (second respondent) to consider and decide petitioner's aforesaid representation/application by a speaking order expeditiously but certainly after providing opportunity of hearing to the fifth respondent.
