1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioners.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:
“a). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari Quash the condition in regard of qualification only degree will considered, obtained from the University run within State published in News Paper on 14.8.2001 for appointment of Assistant Teacher in Primary School (contained in Annexure no. 3 to this writ petition).
b. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider in selection according to procedure without discrimination for the post of Assistant Teacher in primary schools and prepare merit list at State level in pursuance of advertisment.”
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioners is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
