The present petition has been filed alleging that while filling the application form in pursuance to the advertisement for filling the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary School, a minor mistake occurred in the application form. In the place made for mentioning the name of the father, the name of the mother was mentioned and vice-versa in the place where the name of the mother was to be mentioned, the name of the father of the petitioner was mentioned. It is also stated that while filling the marks obtained in the intermediate examination, instead of filling 331, the petitioner filled the marks obtained as 333.
Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that a request was made by filing an application for correction of the minor errors that have occurred in filling the form, however, nothing was done. He further claims that the State Government had come out with the Government Order clarifying the position with regard to the correction of errors in the forms, as various students had committed similar mistakes while filling the online form, the Government Order dated 5.3.2021 is on record as Annexure-5 to the writ petition.
Considering the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent no. 2, Secretary, Examination Regulatory Authority, U.P. Allenganj, Prayagraj, U.P., the present petition is disposed off with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 2 along with a copy of this order and the copy of the application filed by the petitioner for correction. The respondent no. 2 shall pass orders on the said application within a period of two weeks from the date when a copy of the order produced before the respondent no. 2.
The petition stands disposed off.
