Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 and 2.
Present writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding respondent no.2-District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur to grant financial approval to the appointment of petitioner in respect of letter sent by the Committee of Management dated 2.7.2017 and to pay salary to the petitioner on the post of Assistant Teacher (L.T. Grade) in Nehru Inter College, Kunwarda, Jaunpur.
It reflects from the record that for filling the vacant post, the advertisement was issued on 20.3.2017 calling upon the candidates to apply for the post of Assistant Teacher (L.T. Grade). Pursuant to the advertisement, the petitioner applied for Assistant Teacher and he was selected by the Committee of Management on the said post. Subsequently, the Committee of Management passed the resolution, appointing the petitioner as an Assistant Teacher (L.T. Grade English) and papers were sent by the Committee of Management to the District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur on 29.4.2007.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that till date nothing has been done at the end of District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur and therefore, writ petition has been filed.
Under the aforesaid circumstances, respondent no.2- District Inspector of Schools, Jaunpur is directed to take decision with regard to the financial approval of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
