JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to credit the compensation amount as well as insurance benefit for the year 2015 and 2016 for the Petitioner's lands located in Patta Nos.35,46,49, 200 of Naduvikottai Group, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.
2.Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.
4.The case of the Petitioner is that she is the owner of the properties in S.No.93/7 in patta No.200 and S.Nos.23/4 and 5/16 in Patta No.46, and S.Nos.93/3,95/4 and 4/5 in Patta No.49 and S.No.93/3 in Patta No.35 and she is entitled for Drought Relief Fund. Since it was not given, she made a representation to the first respondent on 10.4.2017.since it was not considered so far, the present Writ Petition is filed.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that there is no proof for submitting the representation before the first respondent and if a fresh representation is submitted, it would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within the time frame specified by this Court.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the Petitioner to give a fresh representation enclosing the copies of relevant records to the first respondent/The District Collector, Sivagangai District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the first respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on the same,after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks therefrom.
7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
