The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the District Magistrate, Kanpur Nagar to address his representation dated 03.04.2019 filed by way of complaint in respect of illegal extraction of money by some persons.
The petitioner has also submitted that in that connection, a report has also been lodged.
In case private respondents are collecting goondas tax, as alleged, then the petitioner may pursue the first information report, which has already been lodged. However, in case any police authority or officers in district administration are extracting money, then he may make representation in that regard to the District Magistrate concerned giving specific instances of any such incident so that appropriate action be taken. It is expected that if any such representation is made, the authority concerned would look into the matter.
With the aforesaid observations and liberty, the petition is
disposed off.
