THE HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 26284 of 2007 ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation in permitting the lease of an alleged park area near Ramakrishnapuram Beach in Visakhapatnam.
Learned Standing counsel for the respondent Municipal Corporation submits that the said lease has been cancelled. Sri K.S. Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioner, is however unable to confirm the same.
Taking on record the submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the respondent Municipal Corporation, we hold that the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
The writ petition is accordingly closed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
