Petitioner's mother retired on 30th April 2015 from the post of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM). It is alleged that certain retiral dues payable to petitioner's mother has not been released.
Sri P.P. Srivastava, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 4 states that petitioner is not a nominee in the relevant records and, therefore, only if a succession certificate is produced that the amount due and payable towards retiral benefits can be released in favour of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner shall obtain such certificate and shall place it before the authorities.
In that view of the matter, this petition stands disposed of with the observation that in case petitioner places the succession certificate before the authority concerned, the retiral dues payable to petitioner’s mother would be released to the rightful claimant, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of filing of the succession certificate.
