The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the trial court to decide the proceedings under Section 125 Cr.P.C. registered as Case No.716 of 2014 Anju Soni and another Vs. Jai Prakash Soni, expeditiously within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that for last six months, the court is lying vacant.
In case any Presiding Officer has joined, he shall ensure that the proceedings are taken to their logical conclusion expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
On the other hand, in case the court is still lying vacant, it shall be open to the applicants to move application to the Session Court for transfer of the proceedings to some other court.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
