Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 6.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the respondent no. 4 be directed to decide Election Petition No. nil of 2021 "Smt. Anju Devi Vs. Manoj Kumar and others" filed under Section 12 of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 within stipulated period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 4 to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same, in accordance with law, expeditiously, if possible within a period of six months from the date of production of computer generated copy of this order after verifying the same from official website of Allahabad High Court, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment. In case any adjournment is granted, the court shall record reasons for the same.
