1. Heard Shri Ram Manohar Kashyap, learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record.
2. This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Misc. Criminal Case No. 64 of 2018 (Anju Vs. Lalji), under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghazipur.
3. At the outset, it has been stated that the proceedings for grant of interim maintenance have remained pending with the learned Magistrate since June 2018.
4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of two months from from today, if there is no other legal impediment.
