JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner had applied for clearance certificate and had also approached this Court to get a direction to issue the same keeping the permit in suspended animation. As per the order of this Court, the clearance certificate was issued but the petitioner had not produced current records of another vehicle. In any event, now the petitioner is said to have produced the current records. If the current records have been received as averred by the petitioner in the writ petition and if the permit has not already been revoked, then replacement shall be considered in accordance with law within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that this Court has not considered the issue on merits and it would be within the discretion of the authority to allow or reject the same, WPC.No.32952/2014 : 2 : with reason stated in the latter case. Endorsement shall be made expeditiously if replacement is allowed.
The writ petition is disposed of.
