JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage No.KL-6-D-6434. He has made an application for a temporary permit for a period of four months to conduct substitute service in respect of KL-02-U-700, as per Ext.P1. It is submitted that without intervention of this Court, his request for temporary permit for a period of four months will not be considered.
2. If vacancy of stage carriage bearing registration No. KL-02- U-700 is still in existence and no other person has applied for a temporary permit to operate a stage carriage in that vacancy, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P1 application filed by the petitioner and issue temporary permit of four months duration within one week from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P1. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to a preferential claim, if any.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
