This writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the declaration of result of the election of Gram Pradhan which was held in the month of April, 2021.
Learned Standing Counsel has pointed out that the petitioner has a remedy of filing election petition under Section 12-C of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 and the writ petition at the behest of the petitioner is not maintainable.
In view of the fact that the petitioner has a remedy of filing election petition, the present writ petition is not maintainable and is hereby dismissed.
