The fair price shop licence of the petitioner was restored by order dated 17.02.2018. By order dated 17.02.2018, the application was forwarded to the District Magistrate for final approval. The submission of Shri Om Narayan Dwivedi, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the matter is awaiting for final approval of the District Magistrate. He prays that the District Magistrate may take a final decision in the matter within a stipulated period of time.
The learned Standing Counsel has no serious objection to the prayer being granted.
The respondent No.2, District Magistrate, Meerut is directed to take a final decision on the restoration of the fair price shop dealership of the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
