Heard Sri Om Prkash Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking quashing of the order dated 30 May 2018 whereby official quarter available in Quarsi Farm Campus and half of the land appurtenant thereto have been allotted to the newly created post of Joint Director (Agriculture), Aligarh. According to the petitioner, there is only one entrance to the property and, therefore, his privacy will be disturbed.
We fail to understand as to how the petitioner can claim privacy over the government quarter, where half of the land has been allotted to another officer in the Government. The petitioner has not been able to place any rule to show that the government quarter in Quarsi Farm Campus cannot be allotted to another Government servant.
The writ petition is devoid of merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
