It is alleged that petitioner's uncle namely Bahadur son of late Dhunnu was a Safai Karmchari in Nagar Nigam, Prayagraj, who has died issueless on 15.5.2020. Petitioner claims that he has been nominated in the service book as his heir and he has already raised a claim for release of various monetary benefits due and payable to his uncle. Greivance is that such claim has not been examined so far.
Sri Satyavrat Sahai, appearing for the respondents points out that there is no unusual delay in processing petitioner's claim.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, this writ petition stands disposed of directing respondent no.2 to examine petitioner's claim and to ensure that monetary benefits, which are found due and payable, is released to the appropriate person, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of computerized copy of this order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
