JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. 2. By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life of the petitioner and his wife. Respondents 4 to 7 are the brothers and sisters of the petitioner. A complaint Ext.P1 has been made, where allegations have been made that the mother of the petitioner who was living with the petitioner has been taken away by the other brothers and sisters. He prays that mother may be directed to be returned. Further prayer is that action may be taken so that documents from his brother and sister be returned.
3. The dispute disclosed in the writ petition is purely a family dispute, in which police has no role to play. We, however, WP(C) No. 33106/14 2 observe that in case there is any offence or attempt to offence is committed, it shall be open for him to make proper complaint.
With this observation, the writ petition is dismissed.
