This petition was filed in the year 1992 for a mandamus to the respondents to pay salary to petitioner. The writ petition apparently was dismissed in the year 2001 on the ground that it had become infructous. A recall application has been filed on 31.10.2001 itself which is on record.
Cause shown for non appearance of the counsel has been sufficiently explained. Order dated 12.10.2001 accordingly, is recalled and writ petition is restored to its original number.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner's services are liable to be regularised but only because of pendency of the present matter his application for regularisation has not been considered by the competent authority.
In view of the fact that a direction has already been issued in favour of the petitioner for consideration of petitioner's claim for regularisation in accordance with law, as such this petition is also disposed of in terms of the order dated 13.01.2021 passed in writ petition No.15228 of 2020.
