1. Ms. Samrin Naaz, Advocate holding brief of Sri A.D. Saunders, states that he has no instructions in the matter. No other counsel has appeared on behalf of petitioners though the case is called in revise.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the following relief:
“(i) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the judgment dated 4.6.1994 passed in Revision no. 327 of 1992 and Revision No. 333 of 1992 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition passed by State Transport Appellate Tribunal U.P. Lucknow).
(ii) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in the operation of the petitioners vehicle on the route Aligarh-Sambhal (route no. 1) and Aligarh Hasanpur (route no. 2) of the petitioner respectively.”
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting relief, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
