Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Birendra Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner had moved the respondents for being accorded appointment on compassionate grounds. That application was made in light of the father of the petitioner having died while in service on 16 September 2001. The impugned order reflects that a two member committee has been constituted to examine the petitioner and record his physical statistics. This exercise evidently is in order to enable the respondents to take a decision on whether the petitioner would be suitable for appointment in the Provincial Armed Constabulary.
In view of the aforesaid, while the Court finds no ground to interfere with the order impugned, it is only provided that the claim of the petitioner for being accorded appointment on compassionate grounds, shall be disposed of with expedition.
Accordingly, the petition shall stand disposed of.
