The petitioner is seeking for a direction to the Village Officer to take a decision with regard to mutation sought for by the petitioner.
2. The details of the properties have been stated in paragraph No.1 of the Writ Petition. The property mentioned is covered by sale deed No.2942/12 of Chadayamangalam SRO. The property was previously owned by respondents 4 and 5 who have paid tax also as evident from Exhibit P1, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner. Exhibit P2 is the copy of the encumbrance certificate issued by the Sub Registrar, Chadayamangalam, which according to the petitioner will show that there is no encumbrance also. Another receipt evidencing remittance of fee for effecting mutation has also been produced by the petitioner as Exhibit P4. But the petitioner points out that even now mutation has not been effected.

3. It is upto the Village Officer to take a decision in the matter and appropriate decision will be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment and the petitioner will be duly informed of the same also.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
