1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
"(i) An order, direction or writ in the nature of certiorari calling for the record of the case and quash the orders dated 14.6.89 and 29.6.90 passed by the respondent nos. 2 and 1 respectively.
(ii) An order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to give effect to the orders of the respondent nos. 1 and 2 (Annexure-1 and 3 to the writ petition).
(iii) An order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus declaring sub-section 4-E of the section 122-B of the U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act 1950 as ultra-vires to Article 14 of Constitution of India.
(iv) An order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to enforce the provisions of sub-section 4-E of section 122-B of the U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
