The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the appeal is pending since July 2018, no orders are being passed on the Stay Application.
It is, therefore, directed, that within a week from the next date fixed, orders shall be passed on the Stay Application accompanying the Appeal No.01607 of 2018 (Anees Ahmad Vs. Hussain Ahmad & Ors.), if there is no other legal impediment. For a period of ten days, status-quo as of today, shall be maintained.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
