Exhibit P2 application submitted by the petitioner seeking replacement of stage carriage vehicle operating in the route, Kundara Hospital Junction - Kollam Beach, is not considered, is the grievance. The petitioner is an existing stage carriage operator in the above said route with vehicle No.KL 2AF 7099. The permit in question was valid upto 31-03-2018. Since the above said vehicle was not mechanically fit, the petitioner obtained suspension of the permit and the permit is now kept under suspended animation. According to the petitioner he had purchased another vehicle, bearing No.KL 5S 3204 and submitted Ext.P2 application seeking replacement of the vehicle. It is complained that the respondent is not considering Ext.P2 and not taking any decision.
2. Learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the application will be considered as and W.P.(c) No.15833/2014 -2-
when the petitioner produces records pertaining to the new vehicle, which is proposed to be replaced.

Under the above mentioned circumstances the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and to pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2 application seeking replacement, as and when the petitioner produces records of the new vehicle which is sought to be replaced. Appropriate decision on the application shall be taken by the respondent at the earliest possible, at any rate within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of production of requisite records as mentioned above.
