The petitioners are the accused in Crime No. 622/2011 on the file of the Noornadu Police Station. The offences under sections 341, 354, 509 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 23 of the Juvenile Justice Act are alleged. It is stated that the dispute with the second respondent has since been settled. The second respondent has filed Annexure-2 affidavit and has also entered appearance.
No purpose would be served in prosecuting the case further and the proceedings can be nipped in the bud. Hence all further proceedings in S.C.204/2012 on the file of the Court of the District Judge of Alappuzha are hereby quashed.
The criminal miscellaneous case is allowed.
