When the application came up for hearing today, the learned Public Prosecutor submitted that there is no case registered against the petitioner in Kovalam police station, Thiruvananthapuram district (wrongly shown as Kollam district). In view of the submission made by the Public Prosecutor, the apprehension of the petitioner that he is likely to be arrested by the Kovalam police in connection with non bailable at this stage is without any basis.
