Andrabhai vs State

This application is preferred by the applicant convict prisoner for grant of parole for 15 days on the ground of tonsure ceremony of his son.

The application is rejected by the competent authority on the ground that on an earlier occasion, the applicant had not surrendered in time, had remained absconding for 5243 days and was then apprehended by the police authorities.

Considering the above aspect, and since no convincing ground appears for exercise of powers, this application is rejected.
