The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No. 288 of 1992 within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order-sheet reveals that the court below had passed an order for service of summons upon the heirs of defendant by publication in newspaper.
Counsel for the petitioners states that steps have already been taken in that regard.
Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to ensure that the suit is decided expeditiously, soon after the heirs of the deceased defendant are duly served.
