Petitioner is seeking following relief :-
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to decide the application dated 24.7.2020 pending before respondents are early as possible for correction of revenue record according to judgment of Hon'ble High Court dated 12/12/2018."
From the records, it appears that certain application is filed before respondent no.2 - Chief Revenue Officer, Chandauli on 24.7.2020, which is annexed as Annexure no.4 to this writ petition, however, till date, no number has been allotted to the said application.
In view of the above, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction that if the said application is filed under the relevant provisions, the Competent Authority is directed to allot a number to the petitioner's aforesaid application (annexed as Annexure No.4 to this writ petition) thereafter pass appropriate reasoned order after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties, expeditiously, in accordance with law, provided there is no legal impediment.
It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merit of the case.
