S.N.Sameer, Advocate for R2) This Criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to quash the FIR in Crime No.101/2010 of Electronic City Police Station, Bengaluru.
This Criminal petition coming on for Admission, this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R The petitioner is accused No.2 in Crime No.101/2010. The said FIR is registered based on the complaint lodged by respondent No.2 – Dr. T.A.Rekha.
2. In the complaint, it is alleged that on the promise of procuring gold and silver articles, accused No.1 and her associates extorted a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- from the complainant and when she demanded the accused to return the said amount or to give the gold and silver articles as promised, all the accused persons attacked the complainant and also issued threat to the complainant.
3. The allegations made against the petitioner prima-facie attract the offences alleged against her and therefore, the matter requires investigation. Hence, it is not a fit case for quashment.
Accordingly, petition is dismissed.
