By the present petition, petitioners pray for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate-I Gorakhpur to decide the Criminal Case No. 1368 of 2016 (State Vs. Rahul Jaiswal) arising out of Case Crime No. 295 of 2016, under Section 307, 507, 120-B IPC and 3/25 Arms Act, Police Station Rajghat, District Gorakhpur within as stipulated time.
This court on administrative side has already issued directions to the court below to obtain zero pendency of cases which are more than five years old. In view of directions already issued on administrative side, the trial court is expected to decide the present case which is pending since the year 2001 expeditiously without any further delay looking in the facts and circumstances of the case it is provided that the case may be disposed of within a period of one year, if possible.
With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of.
