JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition for a Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to issue necessary direction to the 2nd respondent not to give torture and harassment to the petitioner on the basis of the complaint given by the 3rd respondent based on the petitioner's complaint in the form of representation made to the 1st respondent on 21.12.2016.
2.Today, Mr.Veeranathan, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station, Madurai District.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that on the complaint given by one Chitra, petition enquiry is pending in CSR NO.328/2016 against the petitioner.
4. The petitioner is directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, he shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
With the above direction, this petition is closed.
