The plaintiffs-applicants are aggrieved by the fact that the Suit No. 40 of 2015 for eviction which was pending since 2015 was not being decided expeditiously. Therefore, a prayer has been made that a direction be issued for the expeditious disposal of the Suit within a stipulated period of time.
A direction, therefore, is issued that the J.S.C.C. Suit No. 40 of 2015 be heard on a day-to-day basis and decided expeditiously. Adjournment shall be granted only under very pressing circumstances that too after imposing heavy costs on the party seeking adjournment.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
