JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, alleging that he has been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 324, and 506(ii) of I.P.C. r/w Section 3(2) (va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2016 seeks a direction to the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge (PCR Judge), Thanjavur, to consider and dispose of his application that will be filed by him under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day of his surrender before him in connection with Cr.No. 192 of 2017 on the file of the respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge (PCR Judge), Thanjavur, there shall be a direction to the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge (PCR Judge), Thanjavur, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner along with his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders.
The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
