Heard the counsel for the petitioner.
The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service.
It has been stated in the writ petition that the termination of the petitioner was set-aside in appeal by an order dated 21st November, 1994 passed by the Additional Regional Director of Education (Basic), Kanpur Mandal, District Kanpur.
The petitioner has not joined his services since 1994 even though his termination order was set-aside by the appellate authority 26 years back. The petitioner has been sleeping over his rights and the writ petition is barred by laches.
The writ petition is dismissed.
