1. Heard Sri Ashok Mehta, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Sri N.K. Rai, learned counsel for petitioner and perused the record.
2. Petitioner has been imposed major penalty by means of impugned order dated 23.02.2018 after departmental inquiry and, therefore, cause of action and relief sought in present writ petition is within the jurisdiction of State Public Service Tribunal and petitioner has a statutory alteration speedy remedy of filing claim petition under Section 4 of U.P. Public Service Tribunal Act, 1976 and we find no reason so as not to relegate petitioner to avail aforesaid statutory alternative remedy.
3. Writ petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
