Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner retired from the post of Additional District Government Counsel (Criminal) on 1.7.2018 upon completion of his tenure and upon attaining the age of 60 years. By this petition, he seeks a direction upon the first respondent to let the petitioner continue as Additional District Government Counsel (Criminal) for District Kanpur Dehat even beyond the specified maximum age of 60 years.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to demonstrate that the petitioner has any right for such consideration.
Under the circumstances, we do not find any justification to issue any such direction as has been prayed for. The petition is dismissed.
