Mr. Rajesh Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this writ petition and seeks direction to the second respondent to decide his appeal dated 12.3.2018 (Annexure No. 5) within time frame. Petition is dismissed as not pressed. Respondent No. 2-Chief Executive Officer shall consider and decide the petitioner's appeal as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from today. Petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order alongwith copy of the writ petition and annexures before the Appellate Authority within one week from today.
It is made clear that this Court has not examined merits of the case.
