Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
The present petition has been filed seeking reevaluation of his answer-sheet pertaining to subject physical education of the year 2016. The petitioner states that he has been awarded marks wrongly and the application for reevaluation deserves to be allowed. The counsel for the respondents has placed before this Court the copy of the policy of the Central Board of Secondary Education where the request can be accepted only with regard to the following subject :-
• 3. RE-EVALUATION
• i) Only those candidates who have applied for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book shall be eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any question (s) in the following subjects only-
• English Core, English Elective (CBSE), English Elective (NCERT), Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy.
In view of the said policy, no direction can be issued for reevaluation of the physical education paper as sought by the petitioner.
The petition is dismissed with the liberty to avail the remedy as may be advised under law to the petitioner.
