Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned A.G.A. for the respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 20.4.2019 registered as Case Crime No.138 of 2019, under Sections 147, 148, 354, 323 I.P.C. and 7/8 POCSO Act, P.S. Bhawanpur, District Meerut.
The allegation in the impugned first information report is that minor sister of the informant was being stalked by the accused and when the family members of the victim confronted the accused, they were assaulted resulting in injuries.
As the allegations disclose commission of cognizable offence and the petitioners are named in the first information report no case for quashing the first information report is made out.
The petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to apply for bail.
