JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 18772 of 2014 O R D E R:
The petitioners herein sought for a writ of mandamus for declaring the action of the 4th respondent, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Konduru Police Station in summoning them repeatedly from 16.06.2014 onwards and making them sit for number of hours in the Police Station and then pressurizing them to enter into a compromise with regard to a civil dispute persisting between the petitioners on the one hand and Respondents 5 and 6 on the other, as illegal.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home has obtained instructions, in writing, from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Konduru Police Station and based thereon, he would submit that the 6th respondent Smt. P. Padmavathi informed the police over telephone on 15.06.2014 that the petitioners and others were trying to trespass into her land situate in Survey No. 297/3 at Lingalakunta Thammalagundi Village. In view of the likelihood of some altercation, the petitioners have only been advised not to take law into their hands and trespass into the lands of any private party. Beyond that the police have not done anything. The learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that as of now, no criminal cases were registered against the petitioners or against Respondents 5 and 6 and hence, the allegation that the petitioners are repeatedly summoned to the Police Station and made them sit there for number of hours is far from truth.
In view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that no criminal case is registered against the petitioners and that they are not summoned to the police station frequently and made them spend their time unproductively at the Police Station for number of hours, no further orders are needed to be passed in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
