Today, when the matter is taken up, Mr.Jose Thangiah, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tallakulam, Madurai City is present.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submitted that the order dated 14.07.2015 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.13142/2015 has been complied with and the case in Crime No.1305/2014 was transferred to the file of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tallakulam Circle, who conducted investigation and has submitted a closure report has been submitted on 24.03.2017 before the District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee, headed by the District Collector, as the offences are under the SC/ST Act. However, the respondent police is directed to pursue the matter and ensure that the closure report is sent to the jurisdictional Special Court for SC/ST cases, so that the petitioner/de-facto complainant can work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
With the above directions, this petition is closed.
