Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent no. 1 In view of the order proposed to be passed today, notices need not be issued to the private respondent.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the following prayer:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1 Consolidation Officer Shahganj District Jaunpur to decide the case no. 199 of 2018 (Amrawti Vs Suryabali) filed under section 12 of U.P. C.H. Act. Mauja Narauli Pargana Anguli Tehsil Shahganj District Jaunpur, pending before him, within specific period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
In the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case, the respondent no. 1 is directed to decide the case no. 199 of 2018 filed under section 12 of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
