[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 20.11.2013, made in W.P.(MD)No.17965 of 2013.
2. When the Writ Petition came up for consideration before a Division Bench of this Court on 20.11.2013, it was reported by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents that the respondents are taking necessary steps to implement the proceedings of the second respondent dated 26.09.2013 to remove the encroachments in question. Recording the same, the Writ Petition was closed. However, in spite of representation made by the respondents, no action was taken so far to remove the encroachments and hence, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.
3. Today, when the Contempt Petition was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the order of this Court dated 20.11.2013 has been complied with and the encroachments in question have been removed and he has also produced photographs to prove the said fact.
4. In view of the above said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, we are of the opinion that nothing survives for adjudication in this Contempt Petition. The Contempt Petition is closed accordingly.
